Programs for 2025-26

All programs are on the third Wednesday of the month, beginning at 6:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted.  Information will be periodically updated (for example specific locations), so be sure to check back.

August 20 – We are kicking off our new year with a social for old members to reconnect and potential new members to come and see what AAUW is all about!  Come anytime between 4:30 and 7:00 to Ooga Brewing Company at 301 S. Spring Street.  We will be outside on the patio.  Snacks will be provided, and drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.  All are welcome!

September 14 through 20 – A community-wide residency featuring John Noltner, founder of “A Peace of My Mind”.  More information specific to this event can be found at the top of the Home tab by clicking on the blue PEACE button.

October 15 – Join us for our annual Scholarship Gift Basket Auction at The Beaver Dam Country Club (note, new location this year).  Doors open at 5 p.m.

November 19 – Join us for a very informative program on AI (Artificial Intelligence).  Location to be determined.

December 17 – Mark your calendar for a fun night of socializing while “On The Move” in Beaver Dam (also known as, a pub crawl).  More details will be coming.

January 21 – Meet the women of the Beaver Dam Fire Department.  Location will be either at the Fire Department or City Hall.

February 18 – We will hear all about the new manufacturing facility, Generac Power Systems, at their facility on 110 Tower Drive.

March 18- Kristina Gomez, Library Services Manager at the Milwaukee Public Library will give us a program on “Standing Together in Support of the Freedom to Read” at Grace Presbyterian Church, 215 Gould St.

April 15 – We will hear about the childcare crisis from Renea Henning, Director of Community Care Preschool and Child Care, Inc., and Dirk Langfoss, Chief Executive Officer, YMCA of Dodge County.  We will meet at Community Care’s new location at 405 W Third Street (the former Wilson Elementary School).   We will also have a tour of the new facility!

May 16 – Annual Brunch, First Lutheran Church, 311 W. Mackie Street at 9:30 a.m. Members whose last names begin with A through M are encouraged to bring a brunch dish to pass.  Plus, we will hopefully have some great entertainment!

BOOK CLUBS

Our AAUW Branch loves to read!  We have two book clubs, one that meets in the morning on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at Higher Grounds Coffee Shop at 9:30 a.m.  The other book club meets 4th Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the home of the host.
