Scholarships

NCCWSL REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR 2024

High School Scholarships

Selection is based on difficulty of curriculum, GPA, service to the community, and personal traits.  The scholarship is based on merit, not financial need.  Selection of the scholarship recipient is made by the Beaver Dam High School Scholarship Program Committee.  AAUW gives two to three scholarships each year, depending on funds raised at the gift basket auction.  At least one recipient is chosen from Beaver Dam High School and no more than one is selected from another area high school.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a female
  • Must reside within the boundaries of the Beaver Dam Unified School District.  Applicants do not necessarily have to attend Beaver Dam High School.
  • Must have maintained a 3.0 GPA or better average throughout the end of the seventh semester.
  • Must meet U.S. residency requirements.
  • Must be entering a four-year university/college or two-year “non-technical” college the following fall.

For more information contact BDHS Scholarship Committee, Student Services Office, 500 Gould Street, Beaver Dam, WI  53916, phone 920/885-7520 x 2113. You can also go to bdusd.org/schools/high/students/scholarships.cfm for more information.
